Studio Fav. was founded by two partners, designer Duygu Karakas and architect Ilkay Ala, with a passion to create innovative, novel and soulful designs in different genres, including furniture, accessories, lighting and small objects. The most important thing we bear in mind when designing our products is that they will accompany you for many years and add a happy, exquisite visuality to the background of your lives. We describe our design language to be vivid, poetic and bold. In our designs, we seek to achieve modernism with forms and details, while also aiming to create a sense of specialness and premium through use of natural materials, such as, marble and brass which have been associated with quality traditionally.
